Everyone has their own favourite routine which they stray towards as the season changes, I tend to wear more make up this time of year and rely more on moisturizing products as well as a heavier coverage. I use a mixture of drug store and higher end products which I will link so you can know where to find them. Here is my step by step tutorial for Autumn 2015...

1. Moisture and Prime.
I use the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser which I actually stumbled across originally from a free sample as part of a magazine and I have loved it every since. I then went out and bought the full size product which retails averagely around £30.00 and although this sounds a lot I use it everyday and it will last me 6 months easy.
I then go to prime my skin with the MAC Natural Radiance primer which I have already posted a review about which you can read by clicking here.

2. Foundation.
As mentioned in my October Favourites I have been loving the NARS Sheer Glow foundation. I was skin matched as the colour Mont Blanc which suits my perfectly. I just use one pump of this for the day time which gives me a good, even coverage and maybe an extra half a pump for a fuller coverage kind of day. I apply this with a Real Techniques Expert Face Brush.

3. Brows.
This for me is the most important day. I could never leave the house without filling in my brows. I go for quick a thick brow and this can make the world of difference to my make up look. Using quick, small stroke I apply MAC Charcoal Brown Eye shadow with a MAC 266 small angled brush to define the shape (I have them threaded) and fill them in. If they are particularly unruly I will use Maybelline Brow Drama to set them into the place.

4. Eye shadow
I love using autumnal shades on my eyes this time of year. I start off with MAC Brule as a base to even out the skin tones on my eyelid and I pack this on the a Jack Wills eye shadow brush (I do not recommend this brush I find it very scratchy but I haven't got around to getting a new one) and I create shadow and depth with a warm brown/ copper shade. For this I use the crease brush from the Real Technique's bold metal collections which I love, it is so soft and blends really easily. I don't tend to wear eyeliner on a day to day basis because it irritates my eyes but for a evening look the one I am using at the moment is the Soap and Glory Super Cat liquid eyeliner. I leave the eyes here but come back and apply mascara towards the end.

5. Concealer / Bronzing
I have awful under eye bags this time of year, for some reason I find it really hard to adjust when the clocks change and I don't get as much sleep. To cover them up I apply the Rimmel Wake me up concealer with the dofaut applicator straight onto my skin creating a triangular shape down to the bottom of my nose and across to the side of my face. I then blend this in using the Real Techniques Concealer brush (another brush I do not recommend) and the Real Techniques Face Blender.
For bronzing I apply the Bourjois Delice de Soleil Bronzing Powder in the shade 12 from the tip of my ear downwards whilst sucking in my cheeks. I also apply this along the top of my forehead to give my skin some extra warmth.

6. Mascara
I have been using a MAC Mascara recently however the name has rubbed off I have used it so much. It is the one which has MAC written all over the packaging. I do not go mad with mascara but feel like this products applies nice and evenly across my lashes. I don't have a separate one which I use for my bottom lashes.

7. Lips
The final step to complete any look for me is the lipstick. I tend to keep towards nude colours for the day time with my go to being Honey Love from MAC which is a matte shade or Ocre Rose from YSL which has more of a lustre finish.

For an everyday look this is my go to routine for this time of year. I love reading other people's routines to get some new inpiration and I hope you all enjoyed reading mine. If you would like me to film a video of the routine feel free to let me know. Otherwise I will see you all again next week,
