Another new type of post this week, I do like keeping you on your toes!
I made these delicious White Chocolate Chunk Brownies and I thought I would share how I made them with you. They are a welcomed celebration to being halfway through semester 2 and therefore almost at summer!
They are super easy and fun to make and I hope you enjoy using my 5 simples steps.

You will need:
3 Eggs (Large)
150g Plain Chocolate
150g Butter
100g White Chocolate Chunks
175g Plain Flour
275g Caster Sugar
1tsp Baking Powder
1tsp Vanilla Extract

  1. Preheat the oven to 170C (or 325F/Gas3).  Line your tin with greaseproof baking paper.
  2. Melt together the plain chocolate and butter in a large bowl. You can do this by placing it in the microwave for 20 seconds followed by stirring it together or by placing the bowl over some simmering water.
  3. In a larger bowl, sieve the flour and baking powder into a bowl and leave to one side. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate and butter until combined. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, stir together. In stages add this mixture to the flour and add white chocolate chunks.
  4. Place a tablespoon amount of the mixture into the four corners of the cake tin to hold the paper down then evenly spread the rest.
Place in the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes (this part depends on how gooey you would like them to be in the middle)
  5.  Allow the brownies to cool before cutting into equal servings and enjoying with some ice cream :)

If you make these brownies be sure to take a picture and tag me on Instagram (@beth_watkinson) so that I can see your variations! Also, I love reading all of your comments below and will always check your blog out if you leave a link in the comment box below!

Thank you for reading!

See you next week,

Beth x
